  • For adults age 18 or older with mild to moderate hearing loss, Jabra Enhance provides an easier way to buy high-quality hearing aids and professional follow-up care — all online and from the comfort of home.

    First, check out our optional online hearing test to find out if Enhance Select hearing aids may be right for you. Designed by audiologists, learn more about our test here. If you place your order for our Premium Care & Protection Package, we'll program your hearing aids based on your test results. After your purchase, we'll ship your hearing aids right to your door, usually within a few days. If you're planning to use insurance, the process is a little different. See our insurance FAQ here.

    If you opt for our Premium Package, after you receive your hearing aids you'll schedule a video orientation with a licensed hearing specialist. During the video call, your professional will review your ear health history and hearing goals with you, so that they can adjust your hearing aids and set you up for success. They'll then go over how to wear and maintain your hearing aids with the cleaning tools in your Enhance Select kit, and make sure that everything is fitting correctly with the included ear measurement tool.

    Your hearing specialist will also confirm that your hearing aids are connected to our free smartphone app (see compatibility) so that you can control your own settings and request remote hearing adjustments from our Audiology Team.

  • Enhance Select hearing aids are for adults with mild to moderate hearing loss. You must be 18+ and live within the United States. Enhance Select is not for those experiencing sudden changes to your hearing, which may require medical attention from an ENT doctor.

    WARNING: If you are younger than 18, do not use this. You should go to a doctor, preferably an ear-nose-throat- doctor (an ENT), because your condition needs specialized care. Over-the-counter hearing aids are only for users who are age 18 or older.

    This hearing aid is for adults with signs of mild to moderate hearing loss. How do you know if you have this?

    • You have trouble hearing speech in noisy places
    • You find it hard to follow speech in groups
    • You have trouble hearing on the phone
    • Listening makes you tired
    • You need to turn up the volume on the TV or radio, and other people complain it's too loud

    Some people with hearing loss may need help from a hearing healthcare professional. How do you know if you need to see one?

    • You can't hear speech even if the room is quiet
    • You don't hear loud sounds well, for example, you don't hear loud music, power tools, engines, or other very noisy things

    If your hearing loss makes it hard to hear loud noises, this hearing aid may not be your best choice without help from a professional. If this hearing aid does not help you enough, ask for help from a hearing healthcare professional.

    WARNING: When to see a doctor

    If you have any of the problems listed below, please see a doctor, preferably an ear-nose-throat doctor (an ENT).

    • Your ear has a birth defect or an unusual shape.
    • Your ear was injured or deformed in an accident.
    • Your saw blood, pus, or fluid coming out of your ear in the past 6 months
    • Your ear feels painful or uncomfortable
    • You have a lot of ear wax, or you think something could be in your ear
    • You get really dizzy or have a feeling of spinning or swaying (called vertigo)
    • You hearing changed suddenly in the past 6 months
    • Your hearing changes: it gets worse then gets better again
    • You have worse hearing in one ear
    • You hear ringing or buzzing in only one ear
  • Jabra Enhance offers real, Bluetooth-enabled hearing aids — not mere amplifiers.

    Unlike amplifiers, our medical-grade hearing aids are designed specifically for people with hearing impairment.     Our Enhance Select hearing aids come with 3 preset hearing profiles reflecting common types of hearing loss (Basic Package) or the ability to be programmed specifically for you based on the results from our online hearing test or a recent audiogram (Premium Package). Because they can be customized for your specific hearing needs, our hearing aids amplify the frequencies where you're having trouble, while amplifiers typically just make everything louder.

    With our Premium Care & Protection Package, you'll also get your hearing aids custom programmed and work one-on-one via video call with a licensed hearing specialist, who will further fine-tune your settings remotely based on your unique hearing goals and experiences.

  • Hearing aids must comply with FDA requirements and are generally classified as exempt medical devices with the FDA, so they typically don't require specific approval from the FDA to be considered legitimate and safe to use. See this FDA page for more information.

    Enhance Select hearing aids are listed with the FDA as required and meet all FDA regulations to be sold as "hearing aids" designed to aid people with or compensate for impaired hearing.

  • Yes, the hearing aids we sell are categorized as over-the-counter (OTC). No matter which combination of model and Care & Protection Package you choose, our devices are compliant with the FDA's medical device regulations for OTC hearing aids.

  • We currently offer three hearing aid models:

    The Enhance Select 500, our smallest hearing aid model, delivers our clearest sound yet, and starts at $1,795. Select 500s feature advanced hearing in noise technology to deliver next-level listening. And they're ready for the future of connectivity with built-in Bluetooth LE Audio and Auracast.™

    The Enhance Select 300 is designed with a "mini" form factor design and starts at $1,495. These advanced hearing aids come with premium sound for the most complex situations, and a portable Charging Case that provides up to 24 hours of listening on a single charge.

    Our Enhance Select 50R model is rechargeable and starts at $995. Our most affordable hearing aid, this option is great for everyday listening and comes with a Desktop Charger that's perfect for your desk or nightstand.

  • Hearing aids have come a long way with advancing technology and improvements in design. We are now able to offer a device with native support for the newest Bluetooth standard, with all of its benefits. As new technologies come to market, we update our products to provide you with the best options for your hearing needs, preferences, and budget.

    Although some products are no longer available on our website, we fully support all customers within their Care & Protection Package terms.

Our straightforward interface was designed for all levels, and we use common video platforms like Zoom for meeting with our Audiology Team (Premium Care & Protection Package customers).   • All of our hearing aid models are Bluetooth-enabled, which means you can connect your hearing aids to your smartphone to stream calls and music right to your ears using a compatible smartphone/device.

    Bluetooth also allows you to connect to the Jabra Enhance Select app, turning your phone into a remote control. With the Jabra Enhance Select app, you can easily turn up the volume, adjust your settings, and with our Premium Package, receive convenient remote adjustments from your hearing specialist— all from the palm of your hand.

  • Yes, but the level of personalization will depend on the Care & Protection Package you choose. With our Basic Package, your hearing aids are pre-programmed with 3 hearing profiles for common types of hearing loss to fit, set up, and manage yourself out-of-the-box. With our Premium Package, your hearing aids will be programmed to your personal hearing ability based on the online hearing test results or your audiogram.

  • You sure can! Many of our customers wear hearing aids and glasses together comfortably. While there may be an adjustment period, a properly fitting hearing aid will stay put. Our tip is to avoid glasses with particularly thicker arms.

      • Make ongoing adjustments & fine-tune hearing aids based on sound quality and your feedback
      • Reassess and reprogram hearing aids based on your hearing needs

If you purchased our Premium Package (or purchased hearing aids before April 12, 2023, other than Jabra Enhance Plus), and you are within 30 days of your expiration date, you can extend your warranty, loss and damage, and professional hearing care services for 2 years for just $500.   • With our Premium Care & Protection Package, once you receive your Enhance Select hearing aids, you'll enjoy 3 years of follow-up hearing care. We'll connect you to a licensed hearing specialist via video conference for an initial orientation call and a series of follow-ups as needed. After you're all set up, you can request easy adjustments through the Jabra Enhance Select app, as often as you like. And if you ever have an issue, our friendly Customer Support Team is a phone call away.

  • Yes! With both our Basic and Premium Care & Protection Packages, you can connect with our friendly Customer Support Team, available 7 days a week via phone, chat, or email. While we make everything easy with video tutorials and our Quick Start Guide, our Premium Package takes it even further by having a licensed hearing professional walk you through every technical step via a video appointment, like fine-tuning your hearing aids based on your feedback. To connect with an Audiology Team member, reach out any time by logging into your account.

  • With our Premium Care & Protection Package, once you connect your hearing aids to the Jabra Enhance Select app via Bluetooth and a compatible device, you can request a remote adjustment, any time. No need to come into an office or make an appointment. In the app, simply answer a few questions to tell us about the sound issue, then our Audiology Team will adjust your settings for you. They can also make adjustments for you when you meet with them via a scheduled video appointment. When our team sends you the new settings in the app, you'll download them to your devices and start noticing the change instantly.

  • Your Enhance Select kit comes with tools for proper cleaning and maintenance, like wax guards, extra earbuds, and a cloth and brush.   • We currently offer three hearing aid models. The price for each model depends on which Care & Protection Package you choose:

  • That depends on the state of your shipping address. Some states in the US require sales tax to be paid on hearing aids, some require it only on hearing aid accessories, some require it on other aspects like warranty/loss & damage coverage extension, and some do not require it at all. Note, if you return your hearing aids for a refund, sales tax will be refunded as well.

  • Our high-quality hearing aids feature the same technology as many that are sold in brick-and-mortar audiologist offices, but through our online direct-to-consumer approach and Care & Protection Package options, we're able to keep costs low and pass the savings on to you. We've found that our hearing aids are typically thousands less than the national average price of a traditional in-person clinic.

  • We accept all major credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover, as well as PayPal and FSA/HSA payment methods (check with your FSA/HSA administrator to confirm eligibility). Through our partner Bread, we also offer financing options with low monthly payments.

  • That depends on your insurance plan and coverage. The best way to verify your coverage is to call your health insurance provider directly. It's helpful to confirm your eligibility, benefit amount available, if it is primary or secondary insurance, and whether they cover over-the-counter hearing aids like Enhance Select.

    If your plan does cover all or part of your hearing aids, call us and we'll walk you through the reimbursement process. Once you receive your hearing aids, we'll send you the necessary paperwork to submit your claim. For questions or to start the process, call us at (800) 854-2772.

  • With Bread Pay™, we offer affordable financing options for all models. Pay as low as $33/mo* for the Enhance Select 50R.

Ordering

  • No! Even though our Enhance Select hearing aids have the same kind of technology you would get in most hearing aids available at a brick-and-mortar hearing clinic, all the hearing aids we sell are compliant with the FDA's medical device regulations for "over-the-counter" hearing aids, which means you can buy them directly from us without a prescription.

  • For our Basic Package, all you need to do is pick your Enhance Select model, add to cart, and checkout. If you intend to use insurance, see our FAQ here.

    For our Premium Package, you can take our online hearing test to provide the hearing data needed for us to initially program your devices to your unique hearing ability. Or, if you already have an audiogram, you're welcome to upload it instead of taking the online test. Once you receive your hearing aids, a Jabra Enhance hearing specialist will further adjust your settings remotely through our smartphone app. Check out our list of compatible devices here.

  • For the best camouflage, we recommend selecting a color that closely matches your hair color. If you don't have enough hair to cover them, match your skin tone instead. Rest assured that no matter which color you choose, we've found that our small devices are still barely noticeable.

  • Your hearing aids should typically arrive within 5-7 business days via free FedEx shipping. if you purchase our Premium Care & Protection Package, that assumes you've already taken our online hearing test or provided an audiogram and no further information is needed from your results. Your email receipt will include shipping and tracking information.

    Note that with the Premium Package, our Audiology Team will review your results. If there are any red flags, we may reach out to you to discuss your results before we ship your hearing aids, which may add a couple of days.   • If you're not fully satisfied with Enhance Select hearing aids within 100 days, we'll refund your entire order — with free shipping and no restocking fees. Returns are easy, simply call (800) 854 2772 or email [email protected] within your return window.

  • That depends on the Care & Protection Package you choose. With our Basic Package, Enhance Select hearing aids include a 1-year warranty (see details). With our Premium Package, Enhance Select hearing aids come with a 3-year warranty (see details). So if there's an issue with your hearing aids while still under warranty, simply reach out to our Customer Support Team and we'll help you replace them.   • Life happens, so we've included options for protection packages to fit your budget. With our Basic Package, Enhance Select hearing aids include 1-year loss & damage protection (see details). If your hearing aid is lost, stolen, or damaged while still under coverage, simply reach out to our Customer Support Team and we'll help you replace them. Please note, there is a $195 deductible. Hearing Test

  • The Jabra Enhance hearing test was created by our team of leading audiologists. Designed to be taken online from the comfort of home, our test provides us with enough information to indicate if you may be an appropriate candidate for our hearing aids, and, with the Premium Package, create your personal hearing profile and program your hearing aids. The tests that you receive at an audiologist's office are designed not only to measure how well you hear but also to identify any conditions that may require medical intervention (which is not a requirement for OTC hearing aids such as Enhance Select). While our test does not diagnose hearing loss or any other disease or condition, if we notice anything in your results, your responses to any of our questions, or anything our Audiology Team learns in our video calls with you suggest any medical conditions beyond common hearing loss, we will advise you to seek further care.

  • We've tested a number of commonly used headphones and earbuds, and all of them performed adequately for our online hearing test. As long as yours are functioning properly, we're confident they'll work just fine. Note the online test is designed to be taken with headphones or earbuds, not speakers.   • After you complete the online test and opt to purchase our Premium Package, our Audiology Team reviews your results to establish baseline settings for your hearing devices.
    As you wear your devices over the weeks after delivery and your initial orientation appointment, our Audiology Team will use your feedback to fine-tune them based on how you hear in the real world (as opposed to how you hear in a quiet room with headphones on).

  • Yes! If you have a recent audiogram and opt for our Premium Care & Protection Package, check out our survey and select 'Upload your audiogram' instead of taking the hearing test. Just note that our team may reach out to you if we still need more info.

Hearing Health

  • It's a misconception that mild hearing loss isn't serious enough for hearing aids. In Audiology, the term "mild" is only used in comparison to not being able to hear at all. And because hearing loss occurs gradually — sometimes over decades — you may not even realize how bad it is. So even if you only have mild hearing loss, hearing aids can make a significant difference in your quality of life.
